Is there a part-time option or does my child have to attend all 5 days?
When registering for one of our programs it must be for the full 5 days. Whether you choose to have your child attend each and every day is entirely up to you. However, it would be at your discretion and no reduction in camp fees would apply as staffing and excursions are based on total number of participants registered.
When can I drop my child off & when do I collect them at the end of the day?
Drop-off is between 8:30 am and 9:00 am and pick-up is between 3:15 pm and 3:45 pm daily. Please be prompt and respectful of these time parameters as staff are unavailable to supervise prior to 8:30 am or beyond 3:45 pm. To report a late arrival, absence or pick-up delay please contact Camp HQ by calling +61 435 267 252
In an attempt to assist parents with commute times, please speak with one of our Instructors if you would like to make special arrangements with respect to drop-off and/or pick-up from some of our off-site venues.

What if my child is too young for the program they wish to participate in?
We offer a variety of programming for children age 9-16. Great care has been taken to ensure that programs suit interest and maturity levels. For these reasons it is our policy that children be within 4 weeks of the age cut-off at the start of camp in order for us to accept them into a given program.
What does my child need to bring with them to camp?
Your child needs to bring their own nut-free lunch, snack and personal drinking water. Best to send this with them in a backpack or satchel that can be carried on their backs or over the shoulder so that hands are kept free for touching, petting or feeding when on interactive excursions.
What should my child wear to camp?
Please send your child appropriately dressed for the weather, including sunscreen and a hat. In the event of rain, a waterproof coat and/or hat is preferable to an umbrella.
On the first day of camp, each child will receive a Future Vet Kids Camp T-shirt. It is important that the children wear their camp T’s every day. Not only do our signature blue shirts make children easily identifiable when visiting off-site venues they also contribute to a feeling of belonging and camp spirit.
We will do our best to encourage the kids to stay clean so parents don’t have to launder the T-shirts on a daily basis but we also don’t mind if they show up looking a tad messy. If you wish, additional T-shirts may be purchased.
As we will be visiting a variety of settings, please ensure your child wears closed-toe footwear daily.
How many children are in each program & what is your child to staff ratio?
We can accept up to a maximum of 30 children in each of our programs and the child to staff ratio is 10:1
